Sample itinerary
Dublin
Welcome to Ireland! Meet your private driver in the arrival hall and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Relax and acclimatise before beginning your Irish journey with a walking tour of the Capital. Your guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and guide you through the discovery of the historic city’s main sites, such as the bohemian Temple Bar district, and Dublin Castle. You will become a local and immerse yourself in Irish history and hear music and stories that make Ireland’s capital city so unique. Afterwards, retreat to the hotel for the night or ask the guide for recommendations of the best restaurants or the cosiest pubs!
River Rye
Meet your driver guide in your hotel lobby this morning, who is also a fishing enthusiast and will remain with you for the remainder of your tour. Before leaving Dublin collect your fishing equipment and your fishing license and begin your Irish fishing experience by fishing on the River Rye. Located only a few minutes out of Dublin City, the river is the perfect setting to unwind after the hustle and bustle of Dublin City. River Rye is home to a plethora of pike and trout. After fishing, tour to your next hotel and relax for the evening.
Coarse Fishing
Take today to relax and fully enjoy your hotel estate by partaking in Coarse Fishing (Approx. 2 hours) and Clay Pigeon Shooting. Each of these estates are well-known for their onsite experiences and both have extensive grounds to explore at leisure.
Galway Pub Tour
After a relaxed morning and a hearty Irish breakfast, depart your hotel and tour to Galway. Here you will enjoy the Irish tradition of Pub Crawling with a Private Galway Pub Tour. During this experience explore Ireland’s music capital and enjoy learning about all the traditional music in the city and its rich history. You will see how music bands and the locals come together and how the songs mark the spirit of the nation. After, you will tour north into rugged Connemara where you will walk on the seashore while visiting an Oyster Farm. See how oysters are grown over a three-year period from seed to plate and enjoy the taste of a Connemara Oyster fresh from the waters of Ballinakill Bay. Travel then to your hotel where you will be staying for the next two nights.
Connemara and the Aran Islands
Today meet a local guide and enjoy a full day to truly experience Connemara and the Aran Islands. Depart from Rossaveal fishing port in a powerboat and take in views of historic sites such as the Martello Tower, 10th century church and monastery. Your boar will anchor off Inismhickenna for a bit of fishing before enjoying a gourmet picnic of local lobster, crab, salads, homemade breads and drinks on the Island. Following a walk and learning about the fascinating history of the island, you will embark on a 1-hour cruise of Greatman’s Bay on a family owned Galway Hooker, a traditional Irish boat now being skippered by the fifth generation of the family. These boats are magnificent sailing vessels, and this will be a unique opportunity to experience sailing in one. On returning to your fishing vessel, there will be more time for fishing, as well as pulling a few lobster pots before arriving back on dry land, where you will have time for a creamy pint of Guinness.
Cliffs of Moher
As you tour to your next hotel, enjoy a visit to the breath-taking Cliffs of Moher, a sheer precipice 5 miles, rising to a height of 702 feet and regarded as one of the most impressive stretches of coast in Ireland. The rest of your day has been left open for you to spend at leisure. Your driver guide will be on standby for further touring or some time to fish if you wish. Ensure to save some time to explore the Castle or Manor this evening!
Deep-Sea Fishing
Further along this stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way is the village of Doonbeg, here you will meet your expert fishing guide for a Deep-Sea Fishing experience. This will be a wonderful day out and you may even see some charismatic dolphins and seals! Please note that this excursion is weather dependent, and this coastline can be unforgiving at times but be assured we will have an alternative experience lined up for you, should it be unsafe to go out to sea on the day. Afterwards, you will return to the castle to freshen up before enjoying a fabulous meal in the In-house Restaurant.
