Property overview

Dalry Estate is a private family home, it is only available for a few nights a year. It is available for Exclusive Use only and comes fully staffed and catered. It is perfect for those family house parties, corporate get aways, special occasions and golfing groups. Dalry Castle dates back to 1105 and had been in the same family until 2012, when it changed hands. Since then, Blair has been beautifully renovated and includes 17 luxurious and spacious bedrooms, 19 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 34 guests.

Accommodation

Dalry Estate is now one of the finest Exclusive Use properties in Scotland and sits in 220 acres of Ancient Woodland. Parkland and Private Gardens. Dalry is a beautifully restored castle, which is available throughout the year for clients who wish to stay in luxurious comfort and have excellent service, whilst enjoying their own privacy. All 17 bedrooms and suites have been recently re-furbished to the highest standards of classic luxury. Each comes with its own bathroom, either ensuite or dedicated, luxurious bed linens, goose-down bedding, fluffy white towels, cashmere throws and Noble Isle bathroom products.

Location

The small North Ayrshire town of Dalry stands on the west bank of the River Garnock, almost enclosed by a loop of rivers formed by the River Garnock to the east, the Rye Water to the north, and the Caaf Water to the south. The Garnock Valley traditionally offered the easiest overland route from Glasgow to Ayrshire, and Dalry developed to serve the traffic along the route, as well as a focal point for the wider rural area. Perhaps unusually, Dalry has never been bypassed by the main road, and the A737 crosses the River Garnock north east of the town before coming through it en route south towards Kilwinning.
